I’ve been in the spotlight and experienced all the highs and lows of the entertainment industry. And currently it’s a chaotic world out there, but my clients and I adapted and we’re back on set. During my long-running international career, as an award-winning actor, director, as well as a college instructor, career coach and entertainment consultant I saw a lot of talented actors in Hollywood struggling or giving up in frustration, simply because they didn’t know how to navigate the business side of the industry nor did they have a roadmap to guide them to success. So I decided to do something about it.

About me:

When I came to Los Angeles twenty-five years ago, I had already established an award-winning film career in Europe, but I had no access to industry insider knowledge in Hollywood. The business side of the industry was a totally different ball game. It cost me a lot of money, time and work. I knew there are no short-cuts to success, but I couldn’t find real expert advice for a successful roadmap either.

There were endless scams, that promised a quick success, or new age “career mindset coaching” mostly by non-professionals, who are not even listed on IMDb. The career coaches I met in Hollywood didn’t know how to further the career of an already established actor on an international level and in different markets simultaneously. They didn’t have the international experience, connections, or the overview of the global market to efficiently build a career in Hollywood and not loose the one abroad. They also didn’t know about all the advantages and resources foreign actors have and the secrets why so many succeed in Hollywood, that I would discover over the years.

But in the beginning my European reps couldn’t help me either and I was forced to take my career into my own hands.

I enhanced my American acting skills, reduced my accent, represented myself until I found the right reps, got my green-card, became a really good networker, found incredible mentors like Martin Landau, focused on directing (stage & film) as well, kept working internationally and got amazing opportunities to grow artistically. I’ve learned first hand about Hollywood’s do’s and don’ts, how important my branding was and established myself in Los Angeles. Soon I got calls from my fellow actors and their agents, as well as foreign directors and producers, who had their first roles or movies in the Oscar competition and didn’t know how to deal with the demands of Hollywood. My entertainment consulting as The Hollywood Connectress was born.

I help my clients around the world with their creative process, self-taping, zoom call backs, confidence, mindset, branding, marketing, artistic decisions, creating their own content, finding the right international representation, immigration lawyers, CPA’s and business strategies and many more to book work they envision and live a fulfilling life.

I stay on top of international industry trends as a juror for the International Emmy Awards, and other film festivals, experience first hand what keeps you competitive in this ever-changing industry and pass all this knowledge and expertise on to my clients. Statistically, only 8% of people achieve their goals, even after learning all the information they need. Therefore I will hold them accountable in my masterclass and coaching sessions, guide them to do the next crucial steps and implement what they are learning on an on-going basis to see faster results.
