I’m grateful to be an artist in residence at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico, where I am developing my next film , The Eleventh Hour. The residency offers a meaningful creative home for this work, which explores Helene Wurlitzer’s life and the cultural, historical, and emotional landscape of Taos during a time of profound upheaval. Developing the film in the very place that inspired it is both a privilege and an essential part of the process.
